One of the chores that can be fun is cooking your meals over a fire. Building a fire takes time and wood but what would camping be without a good fire. Sitting around the fire telling stories are what make memories. Smores make a great treat for everyone. Many campsites have a grill that is part of their fire ring but I would suggest a portable grill so you can keep it as close to the fire as you want.

A camping stove is also needed for those time you can’t build a fire or it just isn’t worth the effort. Peanut butter sandwiches just don’t cut it as camp food for most people.

Everyone needs exercise to stay healthy. Senior citizens are not only not an exception but maybe it is even more critical for them. However, many of them can’t afford of belonging to a health club. The good part is almost everyone has a place they can walk. I see people walking on the beach everyday many of them senior citizens. A walking staff makes it easier for them to keep their balance.

A Cold Steel walking staff was designed by modeling it after the Zulu tribe in Africa. The Zulu tribe is known for their ability to hike a long distance.
