In northern Minnesota we pride ourselves on the quality of water, the land of 10000 lakes and sky blue water. Actually many people still drink bottled water. Even though the water is considered good there is always a potential issue that something has gotten into the water supply and the water is safe to drink even if just temporarily. That is where a Katadyn water filter comes in.

Take the Katadyn water filter with you when you go camping or to grandpa’s cabin. It s both safer and better for the environment then bottled water. Katadyn water filters are used by the
U.S. military to keep the troops safe. Have fun and be safe!

I was at a picnic recently and there were a number of people who brought bottled water just to be safe. I certainly can understand the desire to want safe water but many times bottled water is no different than tap water. A Katadyn water filter can solve that issue and in the long run be cheaper. By filtering your drinking water you can have safer water than you would get else where and it is better for the environment.

Katadyn water filets are used by the U.S. military to keep the troops healthy. It actually isn’t a bad idea to filter that water even at home particularly if you have a well. You really don’t know if something has gotten into you water supply.

I think there is a little bit of nomad in all of us. The desire to see what is beyond the next hill is almost impossible stop. One of the reasons for what used to be the Sunday drive is the nomad in us. Although the Sunday drive is a thing of the past a hike, bike trip or canoe trip still gives us that sense of adventure.

One problem can be finding or carrying water for drinking. Rivers and lakes have plenty but we don’t feel it is safe to drink. One solution is a Katadyn water filter. Katadyn water filters are used by the U.S military to keep the troops safe. Take a water filter with you and it will take less space and weight than the water you will need.

A water filter is better than bottled water

We hear a lot about the oil spill and the environmental costs that go with it. I don’t want to minimize the significance of the damage the oil spill will have but in the long run we are doing other things that can have a bigger impact. Take for example the cost of bottled water. First the bottle needs to be made and then filled with water. The water is frequently tap water from a far away city. The bottle is than hauled to where the consumer will buy it. After drinking the water it then is disposed of.

A Katadyn water filter is a much better option. You will get pure water with a much lower impact to the environment. We all need to do our part and this is one step we can take that will actually be cheaper in the long run.

A water filter will give you low cost clean water

During the time the west was settled people went to the nearest watering hole and drank from it. Unless it was actually poisoned they didn’t get sick. Today we have had many years of clean water so our systems aren’t used to water that hasn’t been filtered. In addition water that comes from private wells frequently isn’t tested on a regular basis so chemicals from a lot of sources could get into that water.

That is where the value of a Katadyn water filter comes in. A Katadyn water filter is used by the military to keep the troops safe. One important act you should remember. The Katadyn water filter is cheaper than bottled water and better for the environment.

I picked up a copy of the newspaper and it showed a picture of people camping along side of a river swollen by spring snow melt. The picture showed someone who carried their tent and other camping gear to the site to enjoy the peace and beauty of spring camping where camp sites are not really public. At least not public in the sense that there is a planed camp ground for you to use. This is one of the pleasures of tent camping, being able to get to places where most won’t go.

There is always a question of water. You can carry it in or use a water filter like a Katadyn water filter. A Katadyn water filter will filter the water to make it safe for drinking.

A water filter can reduce plastic in the landfill

There comes a time on everyone’s life where we have to take a stand. There are many ways to take a stand on things we believe in. I do feel that campers are more environmentally conscious then average but maybe I am biased. My belief is based on the fact that we are outdoors and do see the ramifications of not protecting the environment. One area that can be done better by most is with the concept of bottled water. Bottled water creates waste for our landfills and might only be tap water anyway.

A Katadyn water filter not only ensures safe drinking water but reduces the amount of plastic in the landfill. It is used by the U.S military to keep the troops from drinking bad water. Not that most campgrounds don’t have safe water.

A water filter can save your vacation

Remote camp sites create a lot of adventure stories that can be told for years. There is always wildlife beautiful scenery and the peaceful soundings that are only available in remote locations. The reason these remote sites are still remote is they aren’t that easy to get to. One problem anyone has is water. Water may be available from a river or stream but the concerns about pollution can prevent people from wanting to drink it.

A Katadyn water filter can solve that problem. They weigh less than trying to carry water to the location and over the life of the filter cheaper than bottled water. Keep in mind that even tested water sources can go bad so using this at other locations can be a good idea. It sure beats having your vacation ruined.
