Have you ever thought about a Christmas gift that keeps on giving? The person on your list seems to have everything but yet there must be something you are missing and you want to give something different. Inflatable boats can be the answer. Inflatable boats come with an inflation pump and contain a PVC bottom for reinforcement. Why does an inflatable boat keep on giving?
In our society getting enough exercise is always an issue. One of the reasons is for most people exercise isn’t fun. Inflatable boats are one way to enjoy exercise and we all know getting enough exercise helps lower our blood pressure along with other health benefits. Just remember to wear your life jackets. One nice part of an inflatable boat is you don’t need a SUV to carry it to a lake.
Last spring I twisted my back doing lawn work and was trying to do exercises to strengthen the weak back muscles. My wife and I decided to kayak down the river for a couple of hours. It was tough getting into the kayak but the paddling motion was great for my back. That is one of the reasons I think many people would benefit from inflatable kayaks.
Inflatable kayaks are made with super tough vinyl construction with skegs for direction control. I suggest a double so you can kayak with your partner and have something else in common. This was a great year for kayaking and the scenic beauty made the trips worthwhile with the exercise just a bonus. However, always wear life jackets. The life you save just might be yours.
Inflatable boats have come a long way from the days of floating mattresses. Now they have strong, stable bottoms with inflatable I-beam floors and hard plastic skegs on the underside that help provide directional control and keep you up right.
There are adjustable seats with inflatable backrests that can be inflated as much or as little as you want. The sporty graphics on the outside give better visibility while the design of the inflatable boats results in a low profile that is better for use on lakes and mild rivers. The streamlined design makes the kayak move better through the water.
The Intex Challenger line of inflatable boats includes a two person kayak designed for twice as much fun. It comes with 84″ aluminum oars and a high-output hand pump. The kayak is inflated or deflated quickly through two quick fill fast deflate Boston valves on the main hull chamber. Hard plastic skegs on the underside of the kayak (similar to the underside of a surfboard) provide directional control so you can be sure you’ll get where you want to go. The kayaks feature adjustable inflatable seats with backrests for comfort, inflatable I-beam floors for stability, grab lines on both ends for easy transport after filling, and U.S. Coast Guard I.D. Also includes a gear net so your gear stays safely on board. The Kayak holds a maximum of 350 pounds.

Way too many marriages end in divorce and too many children are left without the leadership they need. Many children don’t spend enough time with their parents even if both live with them. Years ago children were expected to work alongside their parents and by default spent quality time with them. Today families go their separate ways even with leisure activities so values don’t get passed down. Husbands and wives also go separate ways and then wonder what happened?
Double inflatable kayaks help with this problem. When two people have to work together to get something done a bonding effect happens. Companies do it and call it team building, spending thousands of dollars trying to accomplish the effect. My wife and I use a double kayak and have been married for over 40 years so I think I have something to say on the subject.
On a hot muggy July afternoon the thought of spending some time on a boat has a certain appeal. Actually I have no interest in spending anytime on a typical boat on a hot muggy afternoon. What t sounds more fun is spending time in the lake and cooling off. Being out in the open in the sun on the water is just too hot. That is where an inflatable boat works very well.
Inflatable boats work very well as a raft and are very easy to take out to a sand bar, drop an anchor and use as a diving platform. The best swimming places aren’t always on a beach right where you can drive to. Have fun!
